Let’s not beat around the bush, ICE Away is a response to Donald Trump sicking ICE on Minnesota after calling it a trash heap in late November, early December of 2025. Considering the weather and the amount of literal ice a Minnesotan like myself has to deal with at the same time, I thought to myself, “what if ice melt was ICE melt?” It would definitely solve a lot of problems if we could splash ICE agents with salt and they would turn into a puddle like the wicked witch.

I would say this piece is less design focused and more an interactive criticism of current affairs. When you open up the jug you will find blue slips of paper with little tidbits of how to interact with ICE or exposing how ICE operates.
